History
As the mother of an intellectually challenged adult, Elaine Vollett knew how difficult it was to find an adequate day program for an intellectually challenged individual.
She also knew that intellectually challenged adults desperately needed the type of educational and life experiences previously provided by the schools.
As such, in September of 1991, Elaine opened The Centre for Dreams to fill a gaping hole, and provide support for intellectually challenged adults and their families. |
